    You are going there for a visa as a professional ( in IT, medicine etc). Dress like a professional. Need not be in a tie, but semi formal is recommended. How you carry yourself speaks about you. There is no rule, no norm, and no guideline but when it comes to communication, non-verbal communication counts a lot.

    It took about 4 weeks. Do you have H1-B extension? If so, I would suggest to use that instead of waiting for AP. The AP has new date instead of old one. Good Luck in getting the AP sooner.

    IF your EAD and AP got approved with incorrect Photo. What actions ur lawyer is taking for her I-485 application. IF you 485 approved her card will come with different photo. so you lawyer suggested to you and what actions ur taking to prevent.

    Let me know as I am also in same boat.
    My lawyer is stupid guy he wont respond to me. he will only respond to my employer.

    The White House has put up a fact sheet. Reason I came across it is because Google groups it together with our press releases when returning results. This fact sheet states twice that the bill will eliminate existing EB backlogs. Do they know something we don't?

    I was in the same situation as you when I applied. In general, there should not be a problem with MS+0.

    Another alternative is to show the experience gained at your current employer in your application. For that to happen, you should've been promoted to a position in which ur exprience is 50% same as your old position, then you can get an affidavit from your manager stating this fact.
    This is what we had done for my traditional labor. I believe it still holds true for PERM, suggest you talk to the company's lawyer.

    Could you explain that a little further?
    When you say "experience is 50% same" does that exactly mean how you said it OR does that mean "experience is at least 50% same" OR "experience is at the most 50% same"?

    How about requesting a $1donation when a non-contributing member ask a question, or $5 dollars for ten posts.It is not much but will definitely bring some revenue.
    We can have a forum like member only access...where the question can only be posted by payed members or by people who pay a small donation? The idea is that the amount requested is not much ,which anyone can afford, but the number of questions people ask on our forum will definitely generate some revenue.

    We can start a volunteer thread as a pilot program to see what kind of response we get...what do Core and rest of the member think of it?

    I am almost sure that if your work place (physical presence ) happens to be at a Not-for -profit organization, you case would be a cap-exempt one. However, last year USCIS and lawyers association had a lengthy debate about the legal -wordings, over this issue and i have no idea what happened afterwards

    well i got marriage church, but we didn't got are license yet, because my husband have some problem in court.( he is a citzen) We'll know if he will go to jail or not in march 31.
    my question is:
    since we don't know if he will or not. I need to know if i can start my paper with the immigration?

    Unfortunately, incompetence and inefficiency can not be grounds of a lawsuit. :)

    Lawsuits can only hold ground if you can prove that a particular action taken was wrong as per the rule on the books and it lead to monetory loss or physical pain.

    The summer August recess is here and the lawmakers are back in their constituencies. We must push for our agenda to get our provisions in the base bill as CIR is being drafted currently. If we do not get our provisions in the base bill then it is much harder to get them attached to the bill in the form of amendments.

    IV therefore requests its members, to call up and start scheduling lawmaker meetings NOW. Please take appointment with your local lawmakers of both houses of Congress.     The State Chapters will be organizing state level calls to coordinate this effort. You will be given detailed instructions and given documents to carry for these meetings.     If you cannot renew L1, you can go back and work offshore. Remember that GC application is valid even if you are not in country and the process would continue (because GC is for future employment). This option is not bad when the company that sent you on L1 treats you well and you do not want to leave the company. Working at home while your GC is in process appeals to many who want a break from this lengthy and back breaking process.

    I am not sure that is entirely true befoer you go and work offshore you will have to convert your 485 (AOS) to Consular procesing ( I dont know if that is possible when your AOS is pending for some time like lets say 2 years or so I think there must be a way to change in the first few months after filing). As far as I know leaving the country when AOS is pending is deemed as abandoing the application thats one of reason why AP's are for.
