I really wanted to know if it was illegla before reporting someone, you can refer to Jaylenos reply where he quoted my previous post and you will know my real issue is with people that do fraud.
And i am not that stupid to write in a forum like this accepting that i am doing a fraud ehn i can be tracked.

It only makes sense to use RD when PD is current or has moved up. But the order of processing is not just RD but other factors like fingerprint, name check etc. as discussed in other mails.
Although I opened a new forum, I am posting my request here: please post your EB2 approvals, if any, with PD and RD and the country of origin.This would help to fine tune others' expectations of completion of their cases.

With PD retrogressed, I-485 can be processed, but can not be approved. For example, RFE can be issued, it can be denied for any I-485 for which PD is not current.

Thanks folks for all the replies. I got to know finally that the employer can setup the LC to provide for any relocation. It looks like my employer usually does that so that the employees does not loose out in a relocation scenario.

Do you have a middle layer (preferred vendor)? Does your employer have other working on the client site? In either case the employer faces serious possiblity of losing businesss in the future.
Talk to your client manager and I can assure you that no court will hold your employer's reasoning as valid.
What state are you in? In NJ your employer is not even considered an employer but an employmend agency so no non compete holds...

It is my turn to receive the "Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident" today. My depenedents are yet to receive this mail. This forum, Immigration-law, Immigration portal by Rajiv Khanna and many other immigration lawyers' websites like Murthy's etc were very useful to understand the immigration laws.
I did everything myself (EB2-NIW - India) - I140, I485, AP and EAD and my PD (I140 RD) and I485 RD are 08-30-2005.
I did make a one time conribution of $100.00 to IV.

I e-filed at NSC on 14 Apr 2010. Received the receipt on 04/16/10 and had last LUD on 04/20/10. Waiting for approval

Is there any way to know if employer has revoked your 140. I have an approved 140 & pending 485. After filing 485 I left my company before completing 180 days. Its more than 9 months since I left my employer. Will the status change on USCIS web if 140 was revoked.

If there can be some certainty & improvement of possibilities, i have feeling .. people will step forward.
You have noble intentions and I salute your spirit but it does not make practical sense to try and raise $1M when on the other thread, we have not even touched $15K!! At least, this will not happen with a donations only campaign. If a corporate were to sponsor, thats a different thing..
Again, I think all (ok, most!) the members would donate $2000 if there was assurance/certainty of positive outcome. A lot of people are sitting on the sidelines, hoping for a positive outcome, without contributing time and/or money.
People, please contribute time and money towards IV to help yourselves!

Can't you upgrade your 140 application to premium (when it becomes available) in that case? Just for peace of mind.
I 140 and 485 filed concurrently.
Let's say I 140 is approved after 200 (greater than 180) days, If employer revokes I 140 after 230 days (let's say he is pissed off that i left the company using Ac 21 portability)
will it create any issue for my GC ?

Let me rephrase it. With current Globalization and other means to come to US such as B1,L1 etc....why are we stuck to this phase for years.

US has been in number 1 in the past, moved to 2nd spot for a couple of years, in the world competitiveness rankings. For the first time, the US moved to the 6th Spot in the world rankings by the world economic forum (Europe based Institution). The main reason was because of the huge current account deficit and negative savings (mainly federal deficit) which is a threat to the US competitiveness. China moved down due to corruption etc. India moved up but any further movement will depend on structural reforms, especially controlling the huge public service and red-tape and a creaking infrastructure - power, roads, ports, water supply - all of which are run by the government. The health services in large parts of India is dismal and so is the public education system (K-12). With the left firmly controlling the ruling party, deregulation is slow and insipid, and it is the private sector which is basically contributing to the GDP and Competitiveness. enggr: You have completed the course in 2000 (per course completion certificate), but your degree was awarded in 2002 after you completed a supplemental exam. Since the position requires a candidate who qualifies for EB2, USCIS will deny your 140 petition. IMHO, you will have to start your green card journey from scratch.

I do have 5 years of exp, but its not progressive to graduation due to the 2000, 2002 issue. Also on the labor certification the employer has mentioned that he is ready to accept any alternative combination of experience/skills. Will this help? Please advice
